
Rickardo has been employed by the Government of Barbados for over twenty (20) years where he has provided senior level support in the areas of Climate Change, the Montreal Protocol on the phasing-out of Ozone Depleting Substances and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Presently he is attached to the recently created Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy providing policy and programming guidance in a variety of areas as the Climate Change Coordinator. This requires him to interact with a variety of public and private sector stakeholders, each with their own diverse views and interests, in the national pursuit of a climate resilient and sustainable economy.
His training includes Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Studies, Project Management and Leadership.
